Dr. Gina Fick, PT, ScD, FAAOMPT

Founder of Fick PT & Performance | Orthopedic Manual PT Certified | Dry Needling Certified | Blood Flow Restriction Certified

Dr. Gina Fick, PT, ScD, FAAOMPT became passionate about physical therapy during her high school and college years when she played on various sports teams. Dr. Gina was impressed with the impact that physical therapy had on herself and other people trying to get back to the activities and sports they love. This inspired Dr. Gina to become a physical therapist and help athletes prevent injuries, recover from injuries, and return to doing activities they love.

Her experience includes providing care to high-level professional and olympic athletes, as well as collegiate, high school, youth, and masters athletes. She conducted biomechanics research at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center aimed at comparing gender-specific differences in athletic tasks, such as jumping, landing, and cutting. She now utilizes dorsaVi technology to conduct athletic movement assessments, which helps to identify ways in which athletes of all levels can optimize movement and performance. As a former collegiate basketball player, Gina understands the importance of training programs that focus on helping athletes maximize their athletic potential while reducing their injury risk.
